Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participate in the development and administration of policies and procedures for the CIT Program. Maintain compliance of program goals and timely documentation. Oversee case management services, including assessment, development of service delivery plan; linkage to services, and conduct status meetings and plan adjustments; provide case consultation and coordination with other providers. Under the direction of the manager, participate in the supervision and development of staff. Coordinate and facilitate team meetings and group activities Responsible for supporting and training a caseload of developmentally disabled consumers in the areas of money management, meal planning and preparation. Provide training to consumers in the utilization of public transportation services and community safety. Conduct internet search to help caregivers and consumers locate information they need related to helping consumers maximize their independence. Facilitate peer and support group meetings. Participate in status meetings and recommend adjustments to service delivery plan as needed.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Psychology or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years experience or training or a combination of education and experience working with individuals with special needs. Familiarity of non-aversive behavior analysis applications as related to individuals with developmental disabilities; familiarity with Regional Centers. Effective communication skills, both written and oral; ability to present in front of group. Ability to think independently, creatively and effectively in critical situations. Able to work with a diverse population. Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Outlook and knowledgeable in Internet search. Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Must have reliable transportation, valid CA Driver’s license, proof of auto insurance
Salary: $26 - $29/hour
