The Program Facilitator plays a central role in delivering Project Healthy Emotions and Relationship training, education and skill building for teens. Will lead in-class and afterschool sessions using evidence-informed curricula, adapted to meet the needs of middle and high school youth in Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles.  Deliver lesson series and single-session workshops at assigned school sites using the approved curricula. Facilitate interactive sessions that include small-group discussions, journaling, mindfulness, role plays, and art-based reflection activities.  Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for youth of all gender identities and lived experiences. Coordinate with school staff regarding schedules, classroom access, and student referrals in partnership with the Program Manager. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or related field preferred.  Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a positive, supportive, and culturally affirming manner.  Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and basic understanding of healthy relationship concepts.  Able to work independently with minimal supervisor.  Able to make sound decisions and exercise good judgement.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Must be available during school hours and afterschool periods (flexible scheduling possible).  Must have reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

Salary: $19 - $23/hour
