Some responsibilities include, but not limited to, help monitor client’s compliance with treatment as prescribed by treatment team.  Help establish coordination with local agencies in the provision of services. Provide supportive services to staff efforts with clients including, takes medical and social histories and screens referrals and makes appropriate client linkages with other agencies. Assist primary therapist in carrying out, linkage, advocacy and services. Participate in agency supervisor/consultation sessions as appropriate. Maintain agency records and prepares reports as required.  Attend and participate in in-service training and scheduled agency meetings.   

Qualifications:  BA degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related experience, OR AA degree and two years relevant experience, OR HS diploma and three years relevant experience.  Experience in mental health services in a community-based settings and/or healthcare environment preferred.  Knowledge of Department of Mental Health (DMH) paperwork, policies and procedures preferred.  Must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in crisis situations. Must be able to communicate thought and ideas clearly both orally and written.  Bilingual English/Spanish required.  Must have reliable transportation, a valid CA driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and acceptable driving record.

Salary: $22-$25
