Greet and direct clients, families, guests and incoming phone calls. Open and close clients’ charts; maintain accurate filing.  Review and update clients’ files and charts to ensure all information is current, accurate and in compliance. Obtain Payor Financial Information (PFI) and provide follow-up as necessary.  Input and update clients information on databases and electronic medical record system.  Invoice clients on services provided on a monthly basis. Follow up with clients to obtain additional information or resolve billing concerns as necessary.  Distribute and collect DMH Consumer Surveys.  Provide administrative and clerical support.  Request, order and maintain supplies as needed. Maintain regular, consistent, and timely attendance.  Ensure confidentiality as required by Alma, HIPAA, and other regulatory agencies. Other duties as assigned.   

Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED.  Previous nonprofit experience providing financial screening and experience maintaining medical files, both paper and electronic.  Able to work in a fast –pace environment and handle multiple deadlines and projects.  Must be computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and electronic medical records system.  Able to perform in a positive, flexible, adaptive manner.  Able to exercise independent judgment and initiative.  Knowledge of various office equipment (FAX, calculator, copier etc.)  Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.  Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks; attention to duty/detail a must.  Bilingual English/Spanish required.  Must have reliable transportation, valid California driver’s license, maintain current automobile insurance and must be eligible to drive for the Company.

Salary: $19 - $22/hour
