Clinical Supervisor (Full-time)
LCSW or LMFT with two years post licensure experience to provide clinical supervision to registered ASW’s and MFT-Interns. Provide individual and group supervision, as well as coordinate student training programs and in-house training program for clinical staff. Qualifications: Must have completed the 15-hour Clinical Supervision Training. Must be knowledgeable and competent with DMH documentation. Previous Clinical Supervision experience a plus.
Clinician, Long Beach, (Full-time)
Provide individual and family therapy, conduct psychosocial assessments, and develop treatment goals and outpatient psychotherapy with children and families. Qualifications: BBS registered ASW or MFT-Intern (Licensed preferred). Strong clinical background with experience working in community based mental health program. Knowledge of DMH paperwork, policies and procedures preferred. Flexibility and desire to work in the field/community setting. Bilingual in English / Spanish required.
Case Manager, Pico Rivera, (Fulltime)
Help monitor clients’ compliance with treatment as prescribed by treatment team. Help establish coordination with local agencies in the provision of services. Provide supportive services to include gathering medical and social histories, screen referrals and make appropriate client linkages with other agencies as necessary. Assists primary therapist in carrying out, linkage, advocacy and services. Participate in agency supervisor/consultation sessions as appropriate. Maintain agency records and prepares reports as required. Qualifications: BA degree and 1 year relevant experience or equivalent experience. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Effective written and oral communication skills. Experience, knowledge, skill and abilities with culturally diverse populations preferred.
Parent Partner, Full Service Partnership, (Part-time)
Provide peer support to parents and assist them to successfully engage with the program and staff. Support families who have a child(ren) at high risk of being placed out of home. Assist families by helping the parents and/or caregivers identify their needs, role model new strategies, and do ‘whatever it takes’ to promote their success. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. A parent with a child(ren) previously involved in the LA County Department of Children and Family Services, Probation, or Mental Health and have experience as a caregiver of a child with complex needs. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Able to work evening and/or weekend hours as needed.
Community Integration Training (CIT) Coach , East Los Angeles, (Fulltime)
Will provide services and training focused on children, adolescents and adults who have developmental disabilities, and their family members. Will assist children, youth, and adults, their family members, and individuals from the community, in developing resources that promote and sustain mental health, competency and protective coping strategies that enhance their ability to survive and thrive. Qualifications: BA or AA degree in Humanities or social services related field preferred. Minimum one year experience or training or a combination of education and experience in the field of human services. Previous working experience with the developmentally delayed population highly preferred. Effective communication skills, both written and oral; ability to present in front of group. Must be certified in First Aid and CPR. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Fund Development/Events Coordinator
Will be responsible for fostering and cultivating fundraising efforts for the organization and for researching, identifying, managing and writing proposals to support program services offered by the agency. Will also be responsible for coordinating and/or participating in community functions and fundraising events to further the mission and vision of ALMA Family Services. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years fundraising experience. Demonstrated knowledge in the area of grant opportunity searches and knowledge of federal, state, and other grant programs. Requires excellent judgment and integrity. Previous experience in events coordination required.
Accounting Clerk, Monterey Park (Full-time)
Will be responsible for processing accounts payable and purchasing for the agency. Assist Director of Finance in special projects as needed. Act as back-up person for payroll. Qualifications: AA degree in Accounting or Business Administration (BA preferred). Working knowledge of MAS90 or other accounting systems. A/P and Purchasing experience highly preferred. Must be detailed orientated, organized, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience with ADP or other payroll processing system also preferred.
